Good-bye, Sweet Plans

Andrew was going to take the three older boys on the father-son camp out with our church tonight. Which meant I was going to have an entire evening to myself, (after I put Trent to bed). I was going to watch a chick flick, eat the Stouffer's French Bread pizza that I've been hiding in the freezer for a week, read a book without interruption, and sleep diagonally on the bed.

But the camp out was canceled due to flooding at the campground.

And there goes my night.

But that's okay - I'll find something equally satisfying to do. Like clean the laundry closet to make room for all the homeschool curriculum that's been hogging all the floor space in my bedroom. And I can clean the bathroom, which has been a disgusting mess ever since Drew was potty trained.

Darn the stupid flooding!

  1. Doesn't it always seem that just when you have a moment to yourself, that's when everything goes wrong? Always always always!

  2. That stinks! I always look forward to a few hours to myself - very few & far between these days. Good luck cleaning - ugh!

  5. I have tears.

I'm sorry that the night in the bed sleeping diagonally was blown. Tragic.
