Before We Return To Your Regularly Scheduled Program...

Folks, I have been out of town for almost two weeks, and aside from a five minute spell on the internet to pay some bills, have not even had access to a computer.

Gasp, I know.

So tomorrow I will be back to the grind and if I can scrape my brain out of it's funk, I'll have something new for you instead of all the re-posts.

In the mean time, however, our Friday Flick Picker has a message for us.  And let me tell you, it's going to take all the willpower I have to limit my suggestions to five or six...

HELP!!!!  I NEED A MUZE!!!
Hello everybody, nice seeing you again!
Time flies when you are changing jobs!  I have shurked for sure in my unpaid duties as the "Friday Flick Picker" as I have not been able to watch a movie this past week.  So, as I was going over my thoughts about what I would like to watch and review for you, I came to the conclusion that maybe I should ask you for movies YOU, my loyal fans, would like me to review!

So, knowing how much this hoard of crazy's addicted to that Organic Enchilada likes to leave comments and lists, I am going to put the next few weeks worth of posts up to you!
I promise to sit through any campy, crappy, funny, obscure flick that I can based on a list you leave me.  An outside source will randomly choose the titles of the next three review I do....
So - start your list, and I will sit through the crap so that you don't have to!!!
I will state that I reserve the right to refuse inappropriate titles in the X rated or hard R-17 ratings.
Until next time, plant your butt in a comfy chair, stuff your mouth with popcorn and enjoy a good movie!

  1. As I read this, we are watching Napoleon Dynamite, which has to be one of the oddest movies EVER. But oddly riveting, at the same time.

Missed you, Bethany, but loved your re-posted posts!

  2. I must say I've enjoyed the old post posts because they were new to me. I hope you had a great time on your trip.

As far as movies, I never see them. I know it won an Oscar and such, but I'd appreciate a real review of Crazyheart please because I still haven't seen it and I just can't buy into the premise. If you say it's good, I'll rent it.

  4. YAY! You're back! And good luck w/ the new job!

As far as a movie, I can't remember the last movie I watched, so I'm definitely not one to recommend one, but I'll intently read your reviews.

  5. My most favorite movie of all time is Ferris Bueller. And one of the sweetest movies that I love is Love Actually. So those are my requests, and I kinda want to see how David handles the mushiness of L.A.

  8. I need a review of White Chicks. Matty Matt keeps telling me it's one of the funniest movies ever made and I just have to look at him as though he were wearing a helmet and drooling slightly. I don't believe him. You should watch it so that I don't have to waste an hour and a half of my life until I know that at least one other person thought it was funny. Sorry Matt!

    Other suggestions are:

The Dinner Game (ripped of by Dinner For Schmucks)

    Othello

    Passengers

    About Schmidt

    Fantastic Mr. Fox

    The Lovely Bones

    When In Rome

    Shutter Island

The Omega Man vs. I Am Legend comparison

    I'll stop now.

  9. I am so behind the times on movies! I really must make more of an effort to plant my butt down and stuff my face with popcorn while in front of a good one. I did, however, just see Avatar (I know. finally.) - have you done that? What about Viki Christina Barcelona? And I second Slum Dog Millionaire. Great music.

  10. You should just trust me Beth White Chicks is hilarious.

And I am legend is way better than The Omega Man. Neither movie follows the book but I didn't like The Omega man.
