Tomorrow is moving day again.
I don't remember what my cereal bowls look like.
I miss my jewelry box and all the little treasures in it.
I'm still a little anxious about meeting the hearse people.
I can almost feel bits of my soul waking up from their dormancy.
I'm finding it increasingly difficult to stifle my shouts of joy before they make it past my throat. But I can't shout hallelujahs here because it would hurt my mother in law's feelings, and I'm not trying to do that at all. A woman just needs her own domain. I am grateful for my MIL's hospitality. But if you knew the story of the Mouse Fiasco of last week, you'd understand better how it's a damn good thing that the light at the end of the tunnel is so huge.
I have SOOOO been in that situation! Moving sucks, but sometimes it is definitely worth it. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteHappy for you! Hope your move goes smoothly and you have your own domain very soon!
ReplyDeleteYay!! I'll scream with joy for you :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the only situation in which I would actually look forward to moving. A woman needs her own space. I can't even stand it when my husband takes a few vacation days when he doesn't have specific plans.
ReplyDeleteIt's like Christmas in every box. I had my "stuff" packed for a year, it was amazing how fun it was to unpack all my treasures.
