My Boys

On Mother's Day I didn't feel much like sitting at the table with my guys while we ate dinner.  (My legs were sore from having tubes shoved up my veins.)  So I laid on the couch and watched them eat.  That's the scene above there.

I love those five guys.

I love that Drew eats sauerkraut like it was a dare.

I love that Ethan is so laid back.

I love that Cameron always tries to lighten the mood if anyone's having an off day.  (Even if it comes back to slap him in the face sometimes.)

I love that Trent doesn't care about anything but having fun.

I love that Andrew is so smitten with his kids.

And I loved that they all decided that plates were an extravagance that they didn't need in order to eat their hot dogs.  After all, the table is like one big, community plate.  Right?

  1. Yes, a giant community plate! And the tablecloth is a napkin! Or at least that's what I heard....

You have such a cute family :)

  2. What a great picture!

My husband and child wouldn't even bother with the table. They'd be eating on the living room floor.

  3. Before I got married I always thought I wanted all boys, that it would always be a barrel of laughs. What your picture shows is how I imagined it to be. Sometimes I get a little jealous of you.

*then I think about that snot picture* Hahaha!

  5. I think your view from the couch? Is the best view ever. Because when you're removed from your family, even just a tiny bit, you see them differently.

And I love this picture. Hope you are doing OK...off to catch up on your posts!
