Movie Mania

Last week I asked people for their lists of favorite movies.  Submissions were sent in, and we now have one huge list of sweet flicks to watch.  I put my picks at the end of each category, because it's my blog and this makes me feel special.  So browse the categories, find some new movies to watch, and send me scathing e-mails if I failed to include something from your list.

As you go through the list, make note of the movies you want to see, but have not, AND tally up the movies you have seen, and tell me in a comment how many of the listed movies you have watched.  If the movie is listed in more than one category you get to count it as many times as it appears.  If you've seen the movie listed in red you get minus ten points.  The person who has seen the most movies on this list gets the prize.  What is the prize?  Fame and Glory!  (Give me a break - I just had to buy school clothes for my brats.)  But you'll get special honors here in Blogland.  So don't forget to tally!
(Disclaimer: I have included a comment here and there in BLUE.  Those are simply my thoughts, not the opinion of the person who submitted the title.)

  1. That is an awesome list! I counted 155. I need to get out more.

And, I will fess up to being the one who recently watched 3 Men and a Baby. It was a slow TV night, I don't have Netflix, and you told us not to lie.
BUT - I urge everyone to watch it if it's been some time since you've seen it. It's hilarious. In both the way it was intended, and in ways it was not. Oh, how the decades have changed us!

  2. Umm I've seen 117! I can't believe it! And pajama game is NOT a porno! It is an old Doris Day musical and it is adorable. I love old movies! The only category I'd seen every movie in was the musicals... No surprise there, I was once a Music, Dance, Theater major! Fun list!

  3. Oh, man, I thought I might win with my 119, but I see Natalie has me beat. Do you guys remember at Grandma's house when Dave rented 3 Men and a Baby so we could try to see the creepy dead kid standing in the window in the one scene?

  4. 87 for me! Do a list of TV series... And I can almost guarantee I'll win that one.
